A household FMCG Industry leader within the Sydney market and looking for a Senior Commercial Analyst

About The Client
This reputed large FMCG company has been growing significantly over the last few years with new product offerings and strategic acquisitions. They are currently expanding their operations through new distribution channels as well as developing their own digital offerings.
I am recruiting for a Senior Commercial Analyst/ Finance Business Partner to join their high performing team. This would be a great opportunity for a candidate who is looking for career development under the mentorship of veteran leaders in the industry. Hybrid working arragement with onsite parking.
Main Responsibilities:

• Present and articulate analysis, insights and recommendations to different stakeholder groups in ways that they understand, and engage in robust and challenging discussions on findings and recommendations
• Deliver insightful analysis and commercial recommendations across sales, gross profit.
• Implement process improvement opportunities to enable increased focus on analysis rather than reporting
• Take the finance lead on reviewing business cases, monitoring results and KPIs
• Respond to stakeholder requests and manage own workload by prioritising tasks and managing stakeholder expectations and timelines in a mixture of working environments, including Agile
• Financial guidance on commercial strategic initiatives and measuring the success of these initiatives
• Influence strategic direction via insights and analysis
• Ensure business initiatives are implemented successfully

Profile
To be successful in this role, the following experience is desirable:

• CA / CPA or similar business qualification with commercial awareness and business focus
• Experience in a mid/top tier accounting firm will be highly regarded
• Strong data analysis and modelling skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Ability to make the complex simple
• Strong Financial Modelling, Business Cases experience
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey key messages to stakeholders, and an adaptive style and ability to influence outcomes
