As the market and business opportunities continue to grow, we are in search of a Senior Commercial Credit Analyst to join our team.
About The role
Reporting to the Head of Credit, this role will play a crucial role in shaping a robust portfolio by conducting thorough credit analysis.
The role focuses on the health sector within the commercial space and requires a high level of attention to detail.
About You
The ideal candidate will utilise their existing skills and knowledge in Commercial Banking/Finance and have the following responsibilities:
- Determining the strength of credit proposals to establish creditworthiness
- Preparing detailed credit papers and making recommendation on credit decisioning
- Support our relationship executives in understanding our clients’ commercial needs with respect to credit facility structuring
- Ensure adherence to credit policies and procedures and oversee the implementation and monitoring of credit functions.
- Ensuring Credit Memorandums and Facility Contract documents are consistent with approved terms
- Ensuring the accuracy of borrower and guarantor due diligence
- Monitoring of conditions precedent, conditions subsequent and covenants
We want to hear from you if you have the following:
- Previous experience as a Business or Commercial Credit Analyst
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of complex business structures used in commercial lending
- Good understanding of and experience with non-bank lending
- Understanding of industry best practice credit risk measurement techniques
- Understanding of legal contracts and security documentation
- Strong time management skills
