KPMG’s Creative studio combines extensive design knowledge with technical expertise to build and deliver innovative and effective campaigns for the firm. Working in collaboration with our Strategic Marketing, Content, Events, Digital, Social & Production specialists we deliver creatively driven campaigns, large-scale events and thought leadership for our clients.
Your Opportunity
As the Senior Conceptual Designer, you will play a pivotal role in developing innovative concepts and solutions that align with the KPMG brand identity and objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate strategic briefs into compelling visual narratives that resonate with our target audience. To be successful in this role, you should be a highly creative, collaborative thinker with extensive knowledge of digital, print and environmental design, with a strong understanding and interest in current trends eg. Ai and Technology. You will be experienced in leading the conceptualisation and development of creative across various mediums including print, motion & experiential. You will have a proactive spirit with a genuine passion for design and creativity. A proven design craftsperson with the ability to articulate smart and strategic directions in written and visual form. Develop and execute the AU firm’s social media strategy
- Conceptualise innovative ideas and design solutions that are aligned to the creative brief.
- Identify creative opportunities and create mood boards to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Develop strong creative rationales that answer to the creative brief.
- Consider marketing channels including but not limited to digital, social, web, advertising, EDM, signage and print media in all concepts.
- Contribute ideas to project narratives, taglines, and campaign executions
- Attend client briefings, provide guidance on the best creative approach, present creative work to business stakeholders.
- Liaise with external suppliers and contractors as required.
- Keep up to date, distribute information and provide advice on industry best practice and the technical elements related to print/digital design to ensure KPMG effectively uses design/brand principles to deliver quality communications.
- Prioritise work, when necessary, always delivering to deadline.

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience should include:
- A degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a similar discipline
- 7+ years related work experience in design or art direction
- Conceptual thinker with a proven ability to think on your feet, strategically rationalise design and creative choices, create persuasive and compelling recommendations and collaborate with teams
- Able to evaluate and contribute to brand/campaign strategies and plans
- Passion for design, detail-oriented and sophisticated understanding of aesthetics
- Demonstrated expertise across design principles, techniques, and applications
- Understanding brand guidelines: how to push creativity within parameters
- Strong organisational skills and ability to deliver to deadlines
- Seeks out opportunities for personal creative growth
- Demonstrate willingness to learn from others and to share knowledge; always strive to improve and be proactive
- Highly proficient skills in Adobe Creative Suite InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
Additional:
- Experience working on corporate brands or within a corporate environment
- Experience mentoring and coaching mid/junior designers a plus
- Additional skills in HTML and motion graphics will be advantageous
