Your day to day responsibilities will include:
- Liaison with clients both face to face and remotely.
- Working with Deloitte and clients teams to provide assurance and/or support design of control frameworks and processes, including digitising GRC processes.
- Project set up, management and delivery or risk, assurance and controls engagements across a variety of clients and industries.
- Producing high quality and insightful reports describing findings and recommendations.
- Working to tight deadlines, often requiring prioritisation of numerous concurrent project deadlines and requirements as well as communications with clients and within Deloitte.
- Contributing to business development activity- through supporting bid activity and thought leadership.
- Management of more junior members of the team in order to deliver the objectives of projects and to develop the skills of junior members.
- To have a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firm's commitment to creating a more inclusive culture where people are recognised for their contribution.
Connect to your skills and professional experience
Essential:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent, or equivalent experience.
- Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA or equivalent.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Experience in Internal Audit, SOX, and / or control advisory, or equivalent.
- Experience and good understanding of GRC tools, including implementation methodology.
- The ability to travel to client sites as required by this position.
Desirable:
- Track record of building and managing relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience of developing junior staff and mentoring team members.
- Business development skills, with experience growing a business.
- Proven planning and project management skills.
- Evidence of good networking and influencing skills would be an advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Personal independence
Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints. This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm. The recruitment team will provide further detail as you progress through the recruitment process.
