- Perform safety critical systems audits and protective devices audits for mobile plant machinery on various mining sites.
- Evaluate the performance of balanced machines by conducting precision tests, analysing data, and identifying deviations or errors.
- Analyse measurement data obtained from balanced machines to detect trends, patterns, or anomalies that may indicate potential issues or malfunctions.
- Investigate and troubleshoot technical problems or errors related to balanced machines, working closely with maintenance teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Prepare detailed reports documenting calibration results, measurement deviations, corrective actions taken, and any other relevant information.
- Perform desktop audits of PLC ‘management of change’ procedure compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Control Systems or mechatronic engineering, or a related field.
- Five plus years’ experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience in working with mobile plant machinery or related equipment.
- Strong understanding of measurement principles, calibration techniques, and statistical analysis.
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards and quality management systems.
- Proficiency in data analysis software and tools for processing and interpreting measurement data.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
