Collaborate within a team to implement the Ruby's Reunification Program, involving interaction with young individuals and their families using a therapeutic, strengths-based approach. Create a nurturing and supportive environment for youth while fostering their active engagement within the community.
You will actively and positively engage with young people and their families who are experiencing high degrees of conflict causing the young person to be at risk of homelessness or homeless.
This will be a Full Time 12 Month Maternity Leave Role
About the Role
The role is responsible for all aspects of the day to day operations of the Ruby’s Edwardstown Site, leading a team of Therapeutic Youth Workers, and ensuring that the program is working effectively with all internal and external stakeholders to maximise impact for clients.
The Senior Coordinator will require:
- A flexible approach to client centred case management
- A supportive and collaborative leadership style
- Knowledge of Therapeutic Approaches
- Strong Administrative and Organisational Skills
- Certificate IV in Youth Work or Community Services Qualification, reflecting a solid foundation in supporting young people effectively.
- Understanding of the SCHADS award and its implications for rostering practices, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines while scheduling staff across various shifts.
