$1000 - $1300 per day

• Excellent daily rates and flexibility in location for the right candidate (Australia based only)

Opus Recruitment Solutions are working with a Big 4 Consultancy who have partnered strategically with the Australian Government to provide security services to their customers and support corporate operations through providing ICT security advice and guidance.
They are looking to built out a handful of teams to support delivery across a variety of systems, including standalone, deployed, strategic and coalition networks. These teams will be focussed on system certification capability, and working to identify, analyse and evaluate threats and vulnerabilities to ICT networks, hardware and software.
You will be:

• Assessing the effectiveness of security controls for a system and its operating environment
• Producing high quality written risk assessment reports, looking specifically at:

• Scope
• Security strengths and weakness (key threats and vulnerabilities)
• Security Risks
• Effectiveness of current security controls
• Recommended remediation activities
• Attend workshops and meetings to provide security advice to stakeholders and customers
• Reporting & Briefing

This Department's branch is currently facing a few key challenges given the complexity og their strategic and tactical environments, and the volume of sensitive information stored within these networks, so the successful candidate will ideally have experience in a highly-secure environment, and ideally within a Defence context. As a consultant, you must have the ability to maintain integrity and trust with clients, peers and team members, and have exceptional stakeholder management skills As such, Security Clearance of NV1 or higher is required. They may consider sponsoring an NV1 for already baseline cleared candidates for the right people, given the volume of roles.
Certifications & Technical Expertise:
Successful candidate must have proven experience as a Cyber Security Practitioner, with the knowledge to provide industry best-practice guidance to their clients.

• Experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Cyber Strategy & Architecture
• Risk Management
• Cyber Detection & Response
• Cyber Threat Exposure Management
• Identity and Access Management
• Data Protection
• Infrastructure Security
• Privacy
• Cyber Resilience
• Breach Support
• Experience assessing and implementing Security and Risk Standards including:

• ISM
• DSPF
• PSPF
• NIST CSF,
• ISO 27001-2
• PCI DSS, ITIL, COBIT, AS/NZ 4360, CPS234 preferable but not essential
• Relevant Industry Certifications including but not limited to:

• CISSP, CISM, GSLC
• SANS / GIAC, CISA, PCI QSA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, GIAC GSNA, CRISC
• Experience with program / project deliver on major security uplift programs
