Temporary Full-Time role up to 30 th June 2026Location- ParramattaSalary starting from $ 120,859 +Super + accrued flex leaves.Senior Data AnalystNSW Department of Education has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced individual to join the Delivery Support team as a Senior Data Analyst About the roleWe are looking for a Senior Data Analyst with extensive experience in reporting, collation, and interpretation of the data from across different teams within the Department. This role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to showcase their end-to-end Data Analytic skill sets in an environment that encourages growth and teamwork. In this role you will be crucially responsible for monitoring data by following up with the school-based offices and reporting to the Delivery Support group. You will be a strategic thinker and have ability to train and assist the other fellow mates with their professional learning. It would be good to have. Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and familiarity with data profiling and modelling techniques.Experience with the use of Salesforce platform particularly with Data extraction and adept use of Power BI platform.Strong verbal presentation skills, and an ability to demonstrate the report to a variety of audience.Advanced MS office skills (Word, excel, Power BI and PowerPoint)Ability to work in an agile and time sensitive environment.Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.Essential requirements of the roleHold a current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) (for paid employment) Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.About the Department of Education The Department of Education is the largest provider of public education in Australia, with nearly 100,000 employees across NSW in our schools and corporate offices.
