Job Description:
Randstad Digital is seeking to engage the professional services of an experienced Senior Data Engineer/Technical Lead. The role will report to the Data Analytics Manager and will lead the enhancement and evolution of our data platform. This position is crucial for supporting the design, implementation, and building of data products in collaboration with cross-functional teams focused on customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new solutions for the data platform in collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts by maintaining awareness of data and technology developments and making appropriate recommendations to grow the organisation's data capability.
- Ensure the availability and responsiveness of the data platform within the agreed business hours.
- Contribute to and maintain the data strategy and development standards.
- Ensure all data products adhere to security policies and appropriate escalation processes are in place for all applications.
- Document all solutions and integration components for support purposes in accordance with required standards, methods, and procedures, and adhere to applicable configuration management procedures.
- Ensure changes follow established change methodology, including testing and appropriate back out plans where needed, and collaborate with business and Digital and Technology stakeholders.
- Support internal and external data projects through all stages of their life cycle.
- Lead the enhancement and evolution of the data platform.
- Build data pipelines and work closely with internal stakeholders across the organisation and within the Digital and Technology Team.
- Provide technical support for the data platform and offer both advisory and hands-on support for the team.
- Proficiency with Snowflake, SAP, and dbt.
