We are looking for a Senior Day Service Practitioner to join our longstanding, purpose-driven, and values-based organisation to make a real different in people's lives!The role will operate within genU's Community Participation division, which was established to facilitate innovative, client-centred programs with a focus on building skills that will assist in achieving our participant's goals!As a Senior Day Services Practitioner, you will assist and coordinate support for people living with disabilities. You will plan, conduct and review activities designed to increase social and community participation. You will also assist with daily operational site requirements with opportunities for personal growth and skill development!Based in Geelong, this is a part-time, flexible role!About You!Our ideal Senior Day Services Practitioner will:
- Have effective leadership skills;
- Have strong interpersonal skills, incorporating verbal & written communication, flexibility & resilience;
- be able to work both autonomously & as part of a team;
- Have efficient planning, time management & organisational skills;
- Have the flexibility to work across several sites within the region
- Certificate IV in Community Services (Disability) or equivalent;
- First Aid Level II ;
- Current Driver's licence;
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check;
- Current Working with Children Check;
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
