In this role you will assist in the smooth running of the practice alongside the Dental Practice Manager and manage infection control procedures, equipment audits and maintenance, stock control, Dental assisting, reception duties and sterilization duties. Ensuring weekly staffing duties are met, set up of new suppliers. You must be flexible in your working day adapting to situations as they arise.
You will also provide training and induction support as directed by the Dental Practice Manager and supervise and lead the dental assisting team in the absence of the Practice Manager.
Selection Criteria:
To be eligible to apply for this position you must demonstrate the following:
- A Certificate III (essential) or IV in Dental Assisting
- Experience in instrument reprocessing procedures
- Proficiency in electronic dental charting
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a private practice
