The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the role of Senior Desktop Support Analyst within the PTA’s Information Management & Operational Systems (IMOS) division. The role is responsible for assisting with escalations from customer queries, VIPs, managing major incidents and coaching of junior and new staff. This role will also manage ticket allocation amongst the Service Desk and Desktop Analysts, plus also be the escalation point for tickets before being transferred to other teams within IMOS.
To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Possession of an IT Foundation Certificate and/or demonstrated experience in a relevant IT field.
  • Possession of a relevant technical qualification or certification and/or be able to demonstrate experience in the delivery of second level support.
  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge and experience of the installation and administration of IT hardware and software technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal) including the ability to develop a rapport with internal customers.
  • Sound conceptual and analytical skills, including the ability to analyse information and resolve complex technology problems and issues.
Pool
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool for twelve (12) months from which permanent and fixed term appointments will be made. There is one permanent position available for an immediate start.
