Due to continued growth, we are currently expanding our team and looking for a Senior Despatch Trades Assistant - Night Shift to work at our Hope Valley facility. The position will be a casual position moving to a permanent position for the right candidate. We are looking for a candidate who is available for an immediate start. Night Shift hours are 5pm to 5am Monday to Friday.
Job tasks and responsibilities
- Preparing orders for delivery ensuring efficiency and customer lead times are met.
- Identifying and crosschecking picked orders against customer requests prior to despatching order.
- Forklift use to move steel plates.
- Communicating effectively with production team.
- Keeping work area clean and tidy.
Skills, experience and key features
- Forklift Ticket is essential.
- Previous experience within a workshop environment.
- Able to use an overhead crane.
- Attention to detail important.
- Positive attitude.
