The Role
As a senior, you will lead from the front from a technical perspective and mentor junior team members. The role includes software design and architecture support, workflow automation, ensuring system security and compliance, and following change management processes.
Deliver In The Following Areas
- Enable software and operations teams by integrating modern tools and best practices.
- Implementing production changes for DevOps owned workloads.
- Supporting production deployments of projects.
- Ensuring server security compliance.
- Develop new features and enhancements.
- Drive positive change and successful delivery within the team.
- Participate in stand-ups, showcases and planning.
- Analyse and reduce technical and architectural risks.
- Ensure software design aligns with technology and architecture strategy.
- Experienced in building and managing cloud environments, AWS (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in communicating new ideas and leading through change.
- Extensive CI/CD infrastructure and pipeline design experience.
- Support for version control systems.
- Proficient with GitLab CI, Ansible/AWX, and Artifactory.
- Skilled in containerization and orchestration with Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker (ECS).
- Strong programming and scripting skills in Python or Powershell.
- Proficient in infrastructure provisioning with CloudFormation and Terraform.
