About your new role
As our Senior Digital Content Producer, you will work at the forefront of our membership growth strategy by delivering a range of dynamic Digital Content that aligns with FINSIA’s Marketing and Brand Strategy, and Member Value Proposition.
Producing content across our range of digital channels, will provide you with the opportunity to apply your advanced writing and communications skills. Tapping into current key themes in the industry, you will ideate, research and produce engaging and topical content for a professional audience within the financial services industry.
This diverse and interesting role is being offered on a hybrid part-time basis, (either 3 or 4 days per week). It will occasionally involve work outside regular office hours, to provide coverage of certain events, such as Budget Night.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan, oversee and produce engaging Digital Content, ranging from website and blog copy, videos, short reels and podcasts
- Provide comprehensive digital coverage before, during and after events and webinars, including interviewing speakers for events or for podcast production
- Engage in a range of activities in support of the wider Marketing & Communications Team, such as the provision of promotional emails, proof-reading marketing and communication assets, and website content maintenance
Required skills and experience:
- At least 5-7 years’ experience as a Content Creator / Copywriter
- Tertiary qualifications in digital communications. journalism, or similar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in creating content designed to appeal to a professional and diverse audience
- Experience in writing copy for a variety of media, including web, blog articles, marketing, social media and advertising, with the ability to maximise SEO and keyword optimisation
- Experience in conceptualising and producing Digital Content such as videos, short reels and podcasts
- Relationship management skills, including the ability to interview subject matter experts, and the ability to engage effectively with external resources such as freelance designers, writers, and videographers
- Technical proficiency with CMS, Campaign Monitor/Mailchimp, Canva, Adobe Premiere and other editing tools
- Deadline driven with the ability to multitask
