About the role
Reporting to the head of Marketing , the Senior Digital Marketing Specialist is primarily responsible for developing and deploying end-to-end Digital Marketing strategies that produce results within set budgets.
Location
Preferred locations for this role are Melbourne or Canberra.
In this role you will:
- Develop and execute the Digital Marketing strategy for the Acquisition Marketing team and lead Digital Marketing strategy for marketing teams.
- Drive Engineers Australia’s overall Digital Marketing strategy by fostering a culture of collaboration with Campaign Specialists
- Empower and upskill Campaign Specialists to develop and deploy their own Digital Marketing campaigns
- Lead the implementation of integrations to further optimise Digital Marketing opportunities for the wider marketing team
- Manage campaign budgets and reconcile spend on marketing platforms
- Manage SEM for the organisation through Google suite products for a range of websites
- Manage access and generate meaningful data and reports from Google Analytics for a range of websites.
- Develop meaningful Digital Marketing campaign reports and benchmarks
- Support the development, implementation and management of Engineers Australia’s overall social media strategy and KPI’s
- Collaborate regularly with the Community and Social Engagement Manager regarding organic social media and marketing activity
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- You have a minimum of 4 years’ demonstrated experience as a social media/Digital Marketing Specialist or similar role
- You have tertiary qualifications in marketing or communications (preferred)
- You have excellent Digital Marketing knowledge of Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google Ads and best practice
- You have in depth understanding of SEO, SEM and web traffic metrics and conversion tracking
- You understand principles of Digital Marketing and the need to adhere to a code of ethics and privacy laws when acting as the voice of the organisation
- You are familiar with web design and publishing
- You possess excellent copy writing skills, attention to details and communication skills
- You have the ability to think critically and bring innovative solutions to marketing challenges
