April Ford is digital performance agency specialising in lead generation and ecommerce growth, and we're looking to add another Senior Digital Advertising Specialist to our team. This is an executional role meaning you're on the tools optimising ad accounts, trading programmatic, analysing performance and strategy development. 

PS - A Senior is normally someone with 5yrs+ of in platform experience, however if you have less but are a weapon at ads, we still want to speak to you, so apply, we're open minded.

The Role

Manage a portfolio of clients' advertising accounts, not the client as the Performance Managers do this, including Google, Meta, Programmatic, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Bing ad accounts.

Specifically analysing performance, identifying opportunities for growth, budget management/scaling, strategy decisions and recommendations, technical optimisation and working with the mids and juniors below you. 

The role is execution as mentioned above so 80% of your time will be getting your hands dirty in ad accounts, analysing and optimising. It's not a Account Executive or Client Management role so technical ability is the most important thing.

Client budgets range from a few hundred grand well into the millions per annum but no matter how big the budget, we treat every cent with the same level of respect. 

It's a WFH Monday to Friday gig with flexible start and finish times. If you wanna sleep in, start at 10am, if you wanna knock it out early, start at 7am. We're easy as long as you get your work done. 

If you've run ad accounts at a high level before then you'll have a pretty good idea of what this role involves.

The Pay

Range: $85,000 - $110,000 (salary) plus super, agreed based your skill level.

Bonuses: After six months you'll be entitle to:

  • Monthly Team Bonus which is tiered based on company revenue so as we grow, so do you and,
  • Commission on advertising spend managed, the more you manage, the more you get paid.

These bonuses have been designed so we hit them consistently and are a serious amount so you can afford that Europe trip, investment property, holiday home or new car.

The Agency

We're growth focussed agency, managing a national portfolio of clients with particular specialisations in; medical and allied health, financial services, professional services, ecommerce, education, government, SAAS and FMCG. 

Offices are in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast and have team between both offices and Melbourne. Our clients are mostly Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane based. 

Culturally we are a high performing team but not high maintenance. We work hard (but but OTT) so we can earn great money and have heaps of fun doing it. This agency started in 2017 and has steadily grown YOY since. We believe in building an enduring, long-term profitable company. So much so that we don't have any reliance on any one client and 95% of our monthly revenue is recurring. We're well capitalised, debt-free, 100% privately owned and operated. 

Whilst the majority of our team work from our offices as we all love jamming together, working from home is an option for the right person who has a proven record. We understand, especially if you're in a regional location, that WFH is a better fit and we're all about good, talented people, where you work is your call as long as you're available and get the job done. 

The Requirements

All candidates needs to have:

  • 5+ years experience in Digital Advertising management (Google and Meta or Programmatic)
  • Experience in managing budgets of a minimum $10,000 per month in spend
  • Certificates in Google Ads and Meta Advertising
  • Ability to develop effective strategies, budgets and media plans
  • High level understanding of GA4 and Tag Manager 
  • Experience in Programmatic (preferred but optional)
  • Have a growth mindset and be able to identify problems and opportunities
  • Be adaptable to a variety of clients and industries
  • Take feedback openly, constructively and not personally
  • Strong attention to detail and executional ability
  • Experience in presenting to clients
  • A moral compass
