We have a fantastic opportunities for motivated Drainage Engineer(s) to join multiple clients, specifically within Highways to be based in Sydney.Working on both small and large scale projects you will be involved in investigation, design, analysis and modelling, technical documentation, cost estimates, tender submissions, project scheduling and meeting deadlines and budgets.
You will be responsible for the following: (please note roles and responsibility will be dependent upon each candidates experience)
- Provide design and technical consultation in technical drainage areas such as, road drainage design, culvert design, and water sensitive urban design. You will be responsible for checking the quality and accuracy of own and others work. Furthermore, you may be responsible for the development of others through providing guidance, training and feedback
- You will be required to update quality systems information on all project work and contribute to the overall profitability of the highways business group.
- You will be responsible for representing your team or group at external meetings and you may be involved in developing events, activities and internal projects of some complexity.
I am looking for candidates with of all levels with the following experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
- Working towards chartered membership of IEAust or equivalent
- Experience working on Main Roads infrastructure projects and a track record in highways design and up to date experience of highways projects and procedures
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office, Drains, 12d, GIS platforms software
