We are seeking a Senior Alcohol & Other Drug (AOD) Clinician to join the health care team at Dame Phyllis Frost Centre (DPFC) in Ravenhall.
About the role
On July 1st Western Health became the primary healthcare provider for DPFC. The multidisciplinary team provides a holistic and interconnected service provision to patients. As the ANUM, you will play an integral part of the team assisting the Nurse Unit Manager in ensuring high quality patient centred care, whilst achieving effective operational management of the clinical environment. You will receive training to support the delivery of culturally appropriate, trauma informed, gender affirming care for all patients including priority cohorts.
About you
As our Senior Alcohol & Other Drug Clinician you will have:
- Have AHPRA registration
- Experience in a variety of clinical mental health settings, including acute mental health
- Knowledge in conducting mental health and risk assessments.
- Skilled in developing management plans and comprehensive care formulations
- Have an understanding of the National Safety and Quality Health Service (HSQHS) Standards
