The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Design Drafter – Transmission Lines to join our Primary Engineering Team SA/VIC. We are considering applications from experienced Senior Design Drafters who possess sound experience within Transmission Lines or applications from Structural Design Drafters wishing to gain further exposure to Transmission Lines.
You will work on innovative high voltage infrastructure projects including substations, grid connections, battery storage and renewable energy. Supporting the design and construction of our projects, while delivering high quality results, to meet standards and project deadlines.
This will include undertaking, managing, and producing high quality design artefacts, technical documentation, and other work tasks to agreed deadlines, standards and in accordance with the project plans.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Senior Design Drafters will possess 5+ years’ experience in a design drafting role within Transmission Lines
Design Drafters will possess several years design drafting experience within either Transmission Lines or structural engineering
Proven experience interpreting and implementing design information provided by Design Engineers
Sound ability to produce CAD drawings in MicroStation, PLS CADD and/or AutoCAD for compliance with client requirements and standards
Experience with creating 3D design highly regarded however not essential
