An exciting opportunity with a leading Global OEM as a Senior Electrical Service Technician, responsible for completing electrical duties including installations, maintenance and upgrades within the aggregate, asphalt, quarrying sectors. Based out of the Brisbane office, you will be responsible for electrical and controls diagnostics both on site and remotely, providing ongoing customer support. This role will require interstate travel as required. You will report to the Senior Electrical Service Manager. This role will see you undertaking the following key responsibilities:
- Proactive customer support
- Manage and deliver electrical controls diagnostic solutions
- Assist & mentor team members
- Client focused, offering customer service solutions
- Electrical and Controls installation, maintenance & upgrades
With a proven track record as a Senior Electrical Service Technician, you will be focused and driven to build strong customer relationships. Bring with you, your management and development skills to steer an apprentice under your wing. Safety-first attitude and quality standards are key to this role, you will enjoy the opportunities for regular travel throughout Australia.
You will possess the following attributes and experience:
- A Grade Electrical License – Essential
- Experience across electrical and controls installations, maintenance and diagnostics
- Hazard identification, risk & safety experience
- Experience with leading a team member/apprentice
- PLC experience
- Previous experience from asphalt or quarry industry – desirable
