A leading designer and manufacturer of currency handling equipment is looking for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer.

What you’ll do:
Design of analogue and digital electronic circuits
Prepare schematics and detailed requirements for PCB design
Research and test new ideas for the products, and in particular looking at ways to discriminate coins using magnetic sensing techniques
Fault finding on electronic circuits and spotting manufacturing faults
Work closely with the design team on embedded system products and report on the progress and status of their work
Write technical instructions on the projects such as User Guides or Installation Instructions

What you’ll need:
A degree related to Electronics Engineering
At least 10-15 years of experience in relevant fields
Experience with Altium PCB design package (or its predecessor Protel)
Familiar with PCB Design practice
Familiar with principles of programming embedded processors
Nice to Have
Experience in using Matlab and similar software to develop coin/noteset algorithms
Experience in using SPICE to perform Monte Carlo simulations of the effect of component variations on system performance
