We are focused on reducing the carbon emissions of our business, while also enabling the reduction of carbon emissions in the broader supply chain to support the National targets.About the role PN is embarking on an exciting organisational change within the People team, and we have a great opportunity available for a Senior Employee Relations Advisor to join our Advisory Service team. As a Senior Employee Relations Advisor, you will be responsible for providing advice and coaching on a range of Employee Relations matters, leading investigations, and case management activities, and supporting strategic ER initiatives.Key Accountabilities include:Lead and manage complex workplace investigations, including preparing documentation including reports and outcome letters.Ensure excellent Employee Relations (ER) service delivery through accurate reporting, trend analysis, and process improvement recommendations.Advise and support leaders and the People team on ER matters, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.Develop and implement strategies and training that align with business priorities and improve ER service delivery.Provide expert advice on complex ER issues, including policy matters and legislative changes.Support and collaborate with various teams for continuous improvement in ER processes and compliance activities.About youTo be successful in this role, you will be an experienced and motivated Employee Relations professional with demonstrated experience within Human Resources, Workplace Relations, or Industrial Relations, ideally within a blue-collar industry such as transport and logistics, mining, construction, or aviation.You will have demonstrated expertise in all aspects of Employee Relations, including disciplinary actions, investigations, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation. You will have extensive knowledge of employment law, ensuring compliance and informed decision making.To be successful in this role, you will need:Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Law, Industrial Relations, or related field5 or more years in a similar roleER Specialist knowledge, including experience managing employee misconduct, terminations, poor performance, health, and other grievances, in addition to undertaking investigations.Excellent influencing, negotiation, coaching and stakeholder management skillsCommitment to confidentiality and ethical handling of sensitive information.The benefitsAt Pacific National we value diversity, inclusion, and the contribution of each team member.
