What will you do?Our
Senior Employment Relations Advisors are responsible for providing expert advice and partnering with the business in providing
Employment Relations (ER) Solutions. Amongst the diverse day to day tasks, you will be required to;
- Provide interpretation advice on all industrial instruments and ER policies and procedures to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure all ER polices, processes, procedures and systems are maintained effectively and in accordance with legislation.
- Undertake complex workplace investigations and provide expert advice on outcomes.
- Attend meetings as required with government, unions, and employees to discuss employment practices, policies, and requirements.
- Assist in the preparation, negotiation and implementation of Enterprise Agreements, policies and procedures and workplace changes required to support business objectives, including negotiations with unions, government departments and employees.
- Manage Fair Work matters and other jurisdictional applications to mitigate losses.
- Prepare and deliver ER training packages across WorkPac.
- Monitor and maintain the correct employee documents to ensure Audit Compliance.
What do you need?If you thrive on operating in an exciting, fast paced environment and can provide the following knowledge and skills, we want to hear from you.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management, HR, Employment Relations Law or Psychology.
- 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
- Solid experience in interpreting Industrial Instruments and interpreting employment legislation.
- Solid working knowledge of employment law.
- Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate at all levels, establish, and encourage collaborative working relationships.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to analyse and interpret complex data and investigate complex issues.
- Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet skills.
