Role Summary: We are seeking a passionate Senior Engineer with expertise in Clojure. Whether you’ve used it professionally or have significant experience tinkering with Clojure in your spare time, we want to hear from you. As part of our cross-functional team, you’ll contribute to high-level engineering thinking, including improving code ergonomics and developing new features. Our tech stack is diverse, and some of the technologies our team members have previously used include Python, Ruby, Java, Kotlin, Scala, Haskell, Elixir, and Erlang.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with fellow engineers to achieve shared objectives.
- Implement and maintain high-performance search backends.
- Handle third-party integrations seamlessly.
- Participate in pair coding sessions.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide support.
- Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure impactful work.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Clojure (professional or non-professional experience).
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with agile and lean practices.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
