An amazing opportunity has become available to work with a well-known and respectable Shire Council, who are currently seeking an experience Senior Engineer - Road Construction, to oversee and coordinate delivery of all work packages.

Your new role
Working as a Senior Engineer - Road Construction, you will be responsible for the following below:

• Oversee and coordinate the project management, procurement, and contract management requirements for the delivery of work packages.
• Establishes project estimates.
• Coordinates the assessment of all payment claims relating to contracts.
• Ensures designs and documentation aligns with standards, Council requirements and meets the requirements for DRFA funding.
• Ensures all works are completed to the required standard, within the required timeframe and within the approved budgets.
• Manages the project delivery and works with a supervision team

What you'll need to succeed
The successful person will be a qualified civil engineer, with demonstrated experience in road management and construction working in a Local Council setting. You will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, working with stakeholders, and prior knowledge of Civil Project delivery will be advantageous.
