Medowie Christian School (MCS) is part of Christian Education Ministries (CEM), a protestant non-denominational, Christian Education organisation, whose mission is to develop each and every student to be equipped spiritually, academically, socially and physically to flourish and be a positive influence on the world around them. About the role
This part-time (0.85FTE, 64.6 hours per fortnight) English teacher position is covering Long Service Leave in Term 3 2024 (July to October 2024). However, there may be opportunities for ongoing employment with the school beyond that subject to performance and availability.
Requirements
About you
- You have suitable teaching qualifications and are registered with NESA.
- You are enthusiastic and have excellent interpersonal skills.
- You’re willing to receive feedback on your teaching and implement changes in your pursuit of growth as a teacher.
- You care deeply for your students and desire to see them grow mentally, physically, socially and spiritually, as they develop the resilience and character needed to succeed beyond school.
- You have a strong commitment to Christian schooling and are able to teach from a biblical worldview.
- You have an active Christian faith and regularly attend church.
