About the role
An experienced and professional residential Senior Estimator is required to join an established team with a strong background in double story builds. You will have an understanding and experience working within in the mid-high end boutique building environment a plus and be driven by excellence.
Skills & experience
- Preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects
- Analysing plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labour estimates
- Assessing cost effectiveness of products, projects, or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops
- Consulting with trades, suppliers and personnel in other departments, or project manager & director to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues
- Evaluate and compare suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive and accurate pricing
- Update and monitor internal price book
- Ability to estimate multiple projects at a time
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office Suite
- Minimum 8+ years industry experience within the Perth market
