Major renovations are underway utilizing the creative talents of Vogue Australia's interior designer of the year Fiona Lynch.

Zinc is already the premier event space in Melbourne. Filled with natural light and overlooking the Yarra River and city skyline, it’s the perfect canvas to host  corporate and special events, weddings, gala dinners and more. The next iteration will elevate Melbourne events further.

We are looking to add a professional that has a drive and passion for delivering outstanding events. 

Two years into its new independent ownership structure, the business has never been stronger. Working with Melbourne's best corporates on some very exciting events.

Whether it’s a vibrant corporate event or spectacular wedding, we are looking for someone who can lead our clients through their event journey, from the initial enquiry to finalising the details for their event and then making sure we deliver. You’ll understand the importance of attention to detail, and you'll inspire confidence in each and every client that their event will be a complete success.

-Strong experience in event delivery within a high-end venue or boutique event management agency

-Passion for exceptional customer service

-Good corporate contacts and the ability to foster more of the same

-A love of food and wine and a passion for real hospitality

-A desire to learn and grow to be the best you can be

-Creativity and the ability to problem solve

-The drive to crush goals and exceed client expectations

-A proven track record in reaching set individual and team targets and KPI's

-Strong negotiation skills, resilience, and determination

-Outstanding ability to really listen to clients, understand their event vision and provide tailored, expert advice to bring their event to life

-A willingness to buy into the team and play your part in making us better

-Possess superior attention to detail, strong communication skills, ability to multitask and work under pressure to strict deadlines

-Display a positive, can-do attitude always

-Computer savvy and experience with event software and floorplan design 

As part of the Events Team, some of the tasks include: 

-Working closely with our existing Event Sales team in delivering exceptional events to our clients

-Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts

-Achieving budget targets and KPI’s

-Responding to incoming 'requests for proposals', attending to incoming calls and requests for site visits by potential customers with a view to securing their business

-Utilising our booking system to administer and coordinate all sales and event activity including proposals, planning, contracting and invoicing to maximise business potential and cost efficiencies

-Attending industry events and trade events as appropriate

-Being involved in sales and marketing activities
