An outstanding opportunity exists for an Event Specialist with a proven track record, to take the lead on a program of large corporate events in the IT industry. You will work with C-Suite leaders, world-leading IT vendors and industry leading suppliers, to plan, manage and execute a program of events.

Joining an experienced, motivated and collaborative B2B marketing team, you will take the reins utilising your well-developed project and event management skills to execute a plan of concurrent events for both internal and external customers.

Listed in 1997, Data#3 is now an ASX200 listed company reporting revenues of $2.5 billion in the 2023 financial year. Headquartered in Brisbane with more than 1,400 employees, it has facilities across 12 locations in Australia and Fiji.

In this role you will:

·      Develop and implement a national events and communications strategy to achieve documented objectives and outcomes

·      Lead the planning, management and execution of a defined program of major events within Data#3

·      Oversee and manage all associated resources and budgets involved in executing events

·      Develop comprehensive post event reporting including predefined metrics and statistics against key performance indicators.

·      Set ROI and key performance measures for each event in order to maximise the return for both Data#3 and any financially vested parties (sponsors).

·      Develop and maintain mutually beneficial working relationships with all stakeholders including establishing new and growing current partnerships specific to signature events.

·      Collaborate closely with all other Marketing Team members (such as digital marketing, design and content creation) to ensure consistent and impactful message and brand application across all event materials and experiences.

·      Provide event management guidance and mentorship to Marketing Specialists in execution of demand generation campaign aligned events (in-person and/or digital)

About You

You will be a self-starter with exceptional communication, organisational and project management skills with:

•        Proven experience planning and executing large events in B2B environments.

•        Experience working with C-Suite, Senior Managers and Company Board members on a range of events.

•        Strong budget management and financial reporting skills.

•        Exceptional attention to detail.

•        Demonstrated experience in planning, managing, and executing digital events on platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Webex by Cisco.

•        Experience with Pardot Marketing Automation, Marketo or HubSpot, as well as Salesforce CRM systems highly regarded.

In order to perform the duties required for this role, both interstate and international travel is required. Travel will be dependent on location and timing of events.
