Duties and responsibilities:
Looking for a Team Leader Extrusion Operator to join their pipe manufacturing team.
This is a role that will give the right person an opportunity to make a difference, by producing products in a clean and safe environment.
- Managing a team of 2 staff members
- You will be engaged in the extrusion and moulding of products that meet Australian and European quality standards
- Conducting die setting tooling changes
- Performing machine shut down and start up’s, along with trouble shooting and problem solving
- You will provide input into continuous improvements that lead to an excellent customer experience
- Min 4 years of plastic extrusion experience
- Training is provided if you have experience in other types of extrusion or machine operating experience
- Ensure the safety and productivity of all employees assigned to designated tasks
- Enforce all safety and quality processing procedures
- A forklift license and be competent in the safe use of forklifts
- Previous experience in manufacturing (preferred)
- Be Self-motivated, resilient and bring a positive attitude
- Good mechanical aptitude
