The opportunity
Forum Recruitment is proud to partner with this iconic ASX-listed property group to source an experienced Senior Facilities & Capital Works Manager responsible for supporting the business in delivering Industrial property operations and Capital Works projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Asset Operations & Technical Support: Procuring fee proposals and engaging consultants for ad-hoc professional advice and engineering tasks.
- Facilities Management: Drive the Facilities Management function for the respective state, including adherence with contract, KPI management, procurement, building / statutory compliance, WH&S, KPI management/reporting, resourcing, and initiatives.
- Defects Management: Retrieval of site information, project history and management of the consulting team during this phase. Attending site meetings identifying defects and providing guidance on the closure of the defects.
- Capital Works: Undertake the project management of building services/minor capex upgrades across all industrial and logistics sites within your portfolio.
- Tenant Fit-out: Working with Property and Facilities Manager by overseeing the design review and delivery process. Establishing & maintaining relationships with consultants to provide professional advice.
About you
- Facilities management and Project management qualification and or experience.
- Relevant engineering or trade qualification required.
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in relevant technical roles - industrial and logistics background preferred.
- Working knowledge of all Acts and state-by-state legislation pertaining to this position (where applicable)
- Contract administration experience.
- Procurement and purchasing experience.
