Sodexo plays a critical role in ensuring the resource sector can operate by providing quality Catering, Hospitality, Asset Management, Facilities Maintenance and Project Management services.
Sodexo Supply Management Team is seeking a Senior Facilities Maintenance (FM) and IS&T Procurement Manager to join our professional and passionate team on a permanent, full-time, basis. The role is based out of our Balcatta office with ad-hoc site travel as needed to successfully deliver assigned projects.
This role will be responsible for:
- Leading the strategic procurement direction for Sodexo across the categories of FM Services, FM Products, and IS&T that directly support site operations
- Leading the direction and management of the function to set FM and IS&T Procurement strategies that realise the targets of Quality, Cost, Savings, Rebates, Delivery & CSR
- Actively engaging with the FM Supply Chain Operational Manager & Business Development team during the process of tendering or retaining contracts, and interfaces with our Operational leaders to provide solutions to existing operations
- Being the subject matter expert in the development of solutions that will directly support Sodexo’s existing and new business opportunities, this being realized in the development and sustaining of Supply Chain Solutions model to provide matured costings and solutions
- Being face of FM and IS&T Procurement, both internally, in Australia, and externally to Sodexo, exhibiting a high level of professional ethics and conduct. In addition, this role will bring industry-leading knowledge to realise an advantage over industry competitors
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:
- Degree in Business, major in Supply Chain Management/ Procurement
- Ideal, Postgraduate Degree in Degree in Business, major in Supply Chain Management/ Procurement (Desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership position within a Procurement and/ or Supply Chain function
- Well-developed skills to support the effective completion of the source to contract process
- Customer-focus with excellent influencing and negotiation skills and the ability to understand essential stakeholder requirements and build strong relationships.
- Demonstrated experience in change management and implementing business processes
- Demonstrated experience of leading a range of FM categories, e.g., Contractors for Preventive and Corrective Maintenance for Asset Management and sounds understanding of Services types being ideal
