Salary: $100,000 to $150,000 DOE (Open to Negotiate)

Our client is a well-established, boutique family law firm with 13+ Years in the family law field. They are Doyle’s Guide winners and are very involved in local community initiatives. Their Principal is supportive and friendly and has an abundance of experience in Family Law. They have two offices one on the Sunshine Coast and the other on the Gold Coast. Our client is seeking a 5 Year PAE Senior Family Lawyer to join their team.

The role is for someone who has 5 years experience in Family Law and who can work autonomously and manage a team of Junior Lawyers and Paralegals. This requires the successful candidate to achieve billable targets (4.5-7 hrs per day) and also train and develop their team. This is ideal for an individual who wants to Work from Home 3 days a week and be in the office 2 days a week (Sunshine Coast Office).
What You Can Expect in the Role:
Diverse Casework: Engage in a wide variety of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, property settlements, spousal maintenance, and domestic violence cases.
Client Interaction: Build strong relationships with clients, offering compassionate and strategic advice tailored to their unique circumstances.
Court Representation: Represent clients in court, showcasing your litigation skills and ensuring their best interests are protected.
Collaborative Environment: Work closely with a team of dedicated professionals, including the Principal, who is an expert in family law.
Professional Development: Take advantage of continuous learning opportunities, including workshops, seminars, and mentorship programs.
Innovative Solutions: Utilise cutting-edge legal technology and resources to provide efficient and effective solutions for clients.
Team Management: You will be in charge of your own team and training and developing them in efficient Family Lawyers.
Requirements:
- Must have 5 Years PAE in Family Law, preferably from private practice (other law firms)
- Ability to achieve billable targets and manage a team
- Track record of team management and developing team members
- Must have a means of travel from Brisbane to Sunshine Coast Office
- Good attitude and willingness to work hard
