We are looking for an experienced Senior Field Technician to join our team. This position will be based at our Kunwarara Operations located 65km north of Rockhampton. This is a permanent day shift roster position with transport provided to and from our operations.
About The Role
As the Senior Field Technician, you will:
- Support operational drilling activities (i.e. drill rig sampling and sample processing tasks and activities)
- Sample and collect data from Reverse Circulation, Aircore and auger drillholes.
- Coordinate daily activities, liaising with mining, environment, and geology teams.
- Organise site preparation and rehabilitation.
- Knowledge of GPS, and willingness to advance.
- Ensure activities are conducted to the relevant QA/QC standards.
- Support and engage in end-to-end quality control process.
- Clearly convey all quality control results to relevant personnel
The Requirements
We are looking for people with the following:
- Ability to work autonomously or within a small team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills along with communication both written and verbal
- Able to exercise initiative and problem solve.
- Deliver a high quality of work with attention to detail.
- Confident understanding of current legislation regarding field operations, and their requirements
