AddressClean Oil Services is an industry leader in oil analysis and lubrication filtration systems, located Brisbane, North side. We operate a state of the art oil analysis laboratory and manufacturing facility, servicing clients both in Australia and overseas.
We currently have a vacancy in our oil analysis lab for a Senior Laboratory Technician. The successful applicant must have a degree in a science discipline and solid experience with laboratory instruments including ICP, Titration & Microscopic analysis.
This is a hands-on technical role in the tribology discipline.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Day to day processing & testing of used oil & fuel samples
- Diagnostics of oil analysis tests and customer reporting
- Operations, Calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments
- Liaising with clients
- Maintenance of laboratory to required standards
To be successful in this position you will need:
- A degree in sciences or engineering
- Experience with ICP spectrometer, preferably PerknElmer
- Experience in oil analysis & condition monitoring preferred
- Advanced computer skills
- Good time management skills
- Able to work independently as well as part of a close team
- Ability to produce accurate and consistent work is essential
- Strong analytical skills
- Good communication skills
- An ability to learn quickly and a desire to continue learning
- Be committed and willing to go the extra mile
