Senior Finance Business Analyst

Role Overview:

Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Business Analyst to forecast and manage various upstream and downstream business impacts, with a focus on UAT testing. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless integration and functionality across POS systems, payment gateways, finance systems, and core payment platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Forecast and manage the impact of changes on upstream and downstream business processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Lead UAT testing efforts, including test planning, execution, and defect management, to ensure the quality and reliability of systems and platforms.
• Analyse and document complex business processes, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
• Provide expert guidance on POS systems, payment gateways, finance systems, and core payment platforms, ensuring optimal performance and integration.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst in the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on finance systems and payment platforms.
• Proficiency in conducting UAT testing and managing business impacts of system changes.
• Strong understanding of POS systems, payment gateways, finance systems, and core payment platforms.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Location and Benefits:

This position is based in from their Hobart satellite office and offers an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for extension based on project needs and performance.
