Senior Financial Compliance Specialist for the Financial Data and Governance Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functions including financial governance, financial systems administration (e.g. SAP FICO and GRC, Cognos TM1 and Analytics) data analysis, tactical automation and
Financial Compliance and assurance.The core responsibilities of the role will include:
- Be the voice of the Finance domain to resolve and improve finance systems in collaboration with the CTEO group
- Drive the Financial Compliance and Assurance Program
- Drive tactical automation and system enhancements to ensure process efficiencies
- Conduct internal control testing and work with the Finance Community in ensuring key financial controls are implemented and assurance activities are carried out
- Prepare Financial Compliance reporting to the CFO, the Executive, and relevant (Board) Committees, and external parties as required
- Maintain Finance Group Assurance Map and Resilience reporting
- Develop and retain a high-performance team with an emphasis on creating an accountable performance culture

The Person- Proven relevant experience within financial governance, compliance, audit or financial analysis
- Demonstrated experience in implementation and management of financial systems, financial reporting, business intelligence tools, Financial Compliance and controls testing
- Relevant qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or business degree desirable
- Experience working with financial technology systems and other compliance applications (SAP, TM1, ACL, Satori CCM)
- CPA/CA qualifications desirable
- Leadership skills with ability to influence decision making
- Demonstrated experience in developing and managing financial governance and compliance programs and activities
- Demonstrated stakeholder management and liaison experience
- Demonstrated ability to drive, deliver and sustain process improvements
