The responsibilities of this role are to deliver a wide range of project for fire protection design.
Key Criteria
As the successful candidate for the role of Fire Protection Engineer, you will meet the following criteria;
- Fire modelling, including development of fire safety strategies
- Fire services design, including automatic fire sprinkler systems, deluge systems, fire hydrant systems, fire detection and alarm systems
- Building Code of Australia (BCA) assessment and advice
- To assess potential projects and prepare fee proposals and/or tender documentation
- To undertake site inspections during the construction process and at physical completion of the project, providing inspections reports and requests for rectification works (when required)
- To liaise with the Clients to secure payment for work undertaken, whilst maintaining a good relationship with them
