About you
We are looking for a fire specialist with experience in testing and commissioning as well as operation and maintenance of fire systems in large scale Metro projects.
You'll have:

• Accreditation under the Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme with the Fire Protection Association Australia.
• Strong ability to communicate and present information/data by means of visualisation tools.
• Work experience in testing and commissioning activities; shop-drawing review; and requirements verification and validation processes.
• Investigative, analytical and research skills, using software to record, manipulate and present asset and project programming data.
• Knowledge of Australian design standards, codes and practices
• Appetite to learn more and further develop your skills (continuous development)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural Team environment.

Your Opportunity
Due to strong growth and an exciting pipeline of projects, Mott MacDonald's Built Environment team has an exciting opening for a Senior Fire Services Engineering Professional in our Sydney office. You will be joining a diverse and passionate team with a proven track record delivering city-shaping projects across Australia.
This is a key role within the Mott MacDonald building services team, to apply your knowledge of Fire Services to provide site-based services, for the review of installation, testing and commissioning of Metro Stations within Sydney, you will be:

• Acting as the Engineer responsible for fire systems (wet riser system, fire hose reel system, sprinkler system, gas suppression system or any other wet/dry fire suppression system) and provide domain expertise in Sydney Metro and within Mott MacDonald
• Providing technical advice on system engineering, design and assurance matters considering delivery, operation, and maintenance of the system.
• Developing/Review test plans, procedures, methodologies and schedules for the different testing and commissioning stages of a large-scale infrastructure project (off-site tests, on-site tests, performance tests and operational readiness tests).Supervise testing and commissioning of systems, collect data/evidence, and assess compliance. #LI-MW1
