The Role

Seeking Senior Flood Engineer with 8+ years experience with specialized expertise in assessing, managing, and mitigating flood risks and impacts. Being the sole flood engineer in this team you will run your own projects and pioneer a growing section within this consultancy 

The Responsibilities

• You will run your own projects 
• Design and implement effective engineering solutions to manage and mitigate flood risks.
• Lead and manage flood-related projects from inception to completion.
• Stay abreast of relevant regulations and standards related to flood management.

The Requirements

This is an exciting role that will suit an ambitious water engineer who is looking to take ownership of their projects and career.  In return for the opportunities that you will be afforded, you will be able to demonstrate:

• 8 years + experience working as a Flood Engineer or Senior Flood Engineer
• NSW engineering design consultancy experience
• Demonstrable experience utilising TUFLOW and other relevant software packages
• Additional experience in drainage design will be highly desirable but not essential
• Full working rights in Australia
