We're both a retail and online florist shop, who provides customers with a variety of beautiful blooms and styles to brighten their day. We cover all aspects of floristry, from your everyday bouquet to special events such as; corporate days, weddings, engagements, bridal & baby showers, birthdays, anniversaries and funerals. Our in-store fresh flower range is quite extensive as we love to put on a show!

About the Role
As a Senior Florist, you will be responsible for the general day to day running of the store. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Create flower arrangements and fulfill orders as required including re-creating arrangements/bouquets from our in-store and online range
• Provide customer service both over the phone and face to face
• Operate a point of sale to process orders and send customers confirmation of deliveries
• Order flower and sundry items
• Unpack and prepare market bunches for instore sales
• Open/close store including shop set up and pack down and reconcile end of day
• Any other duties required
Please note:
We're open 6 days and you will be required to work Saturdays on rotation.
We do open on Sunday’s, from time to time, generally during peak times such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day and Christmas, you will be expected to make yourself available for these occasions.
About You
The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast faced environment and be able to easily interact with customers. You will also have:
• Minimum 3 years experience working in a retail florist shop as a Senior Florist or equivalent
• Creativity to design and create flower arrangements
• Sound flower and plant knowledge
• Strong customer service background
• Be punctual and reliable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
• Proficiency in social media skills, primarily FB & Instgram
• Car or other form of own transportation is essential as public transport isn't an option or readily available
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to read, speak and write English proficiently
