Summary:
Accountable for the operations and team management across multiple functions in
fulfillment including Customer Service, Warehouse & Distribution supply chain for ANZ, international transportation, vendor management, and inventory control. Staff are based across ANZ and may consist of both onsite and offsite operations management with specialized employees. There is also a dotted line relationship with the Demand and Planning team to encompass an end-to-end supply chain remit.
Essential Duties
This section contains a list of five to eight primary responsibilities of this role and that account for the majority of the work. The incumbent will perform other responsibilities: duties assigned.
- Proactively pursue innovative ways to manage the operations to achieve superior results as it relates to supply chain order fulfillment. May participate in the development of the long-term strategy and vision planning for the fulfillment organization.
- Manages local stakeholders, ensuring proper communication, escalation, and support.
- Identify business critical issues and facilitate discussion and decision making in support of goals and objectives. Evaluate various major business alternatives and present decisions to Senior Leaders.
- Overview Customer Service Team Ops including CS Budget, KPIs and Customer Satisfaction Index
- Develop assigned budgets, key imperatives, and key performance indicators and ensure all metrics and performance objectives are met.
- Overall Accountability of Fulfillment Ops $30Mn Spend & establish necessary processes and review mechanism to challenge the variances and build mitigation plan to meet Annual Financial Targets.
- Interact with broad programs and liaison with both internal and external partners to understand and integrate customer requirements into business processes and practices.
- Accountable to ensure necessary Quality & EHS Compliance Measures & Controls are in place across the value chain
- Accountable for overseeing functional talent management objectives are met. Analyze the resource requirements and establish a plan to meet staffing requirements. Coach & Mentor employees, supervisors, and managers and is involved with escalated employee relations issues.
- Manage the training, development, and succussion plans for the team to support a continuous improvement culture.
- Accountable for compliance with all function, corporate, state and federal regulations as they relate to employment, training, health and safety, quality, pharmacy, warehousing, distribution, transportation, and International Trade and export compliance.
- Proactively address challenges, capitalize on opportunities, and anticipate emerging and future customer, marketplace, and competitive trends
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a leader / manager who leads other leaders
- Assessing, developing and managing talent to benefit professional growth to meet business objectives.
- Demonstrated excellent leadership, interpersonal, and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent managerial, analytical, organizational, problem solving, negotiating skills, and communication (both verbal and written)
- Managing financial metrics, P&L and cost reduction
- FDA/highly regulated environments
- Leading a large cultural transformation.
- Performing within a large, matrixed, global manufacturing organisation required.
- Demonstrate an ability to assess the impact of short-term decisions on the longer term business goals.
- Must also have project management skills.
- Ability to travel
