Our client is looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer interested in a great permanent opportunity to join a highly innovative team in Melbourne. Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing software solutions across multiple platforms
- Design, build, maintain, and automate cloud infrastructure for the production environment
- Producing high-quality code and reviewing the code of your peers
- Efficient and effective code maintenance
- Analysing product requirements and breaking down user
- stories into tasks
- Providing accurate estimations
- Developing build, test, and deployment automation
- Reliability engineering (monitoring/incident management)
- The ability to lead and mentor projects and software engineers
Experience required
- 7+ years experience as a Senior full-stack software engineer
- Experience working in an agile DevOps culture
- Solid understanding of the full software/product development lifecycle process
- Good JavaScript knowledge both with Node.js and in a browser environment
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks, ideally React.js and/or Ember.js
- Experience using and administering Unix/Linux development environments
- Any experience in TypeScript and SQL would be advantageous
- Any experience using Electron and/or Cordova App Development Frameworks is a bonus
- Any experience with AWS, Docker, EC2, Lambda, ECS, Terraform, PostgreSQL
