As the Senior Functional Analyst specialising in Oracle Fusion Financials, you are responsible for supporting and enhancing Nova's Oracle Platform Service that supports business operations and processes. The role is responsible for undertaking work that is moderately complex to complex in nature, under limited direction, utilising expertise in systems and operational support across a geographically dispersed network.
You will be responsible for supporting and managing requests that relate to Oracle ERP (Finance, Inventory, Procurement, Supply Chain Management) and any upcoming future initiatives in the Oracle road-map.
What will you be involved in:
- Manage day-to-day functional support of Oracle Fusion Cloud system for the scope of financials (General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Expenses, Fixed Assets, Tax, Advance Global Inter-company System (AGIS), Sub Ledger Accounting (SLA), Cash Management), Inventory, Procurement, and Supply Chain Management
- Manage support requests, escalating to support providers and vendors when required
- Lead the design and implementation phases of new systems initiatives, providing functional analysis and design to ensure that new systems meet operational, control and informational requirements with moderate supervision
- Collaborate with cross-functional and technical teams to coordinate system issues and enhancements across the Oracle environment
- Analyse, define and document business needs for the relevant business area in accordance with technical (functional / non-functional) requirements
- Assist end users in analysing business processes, identifying problems, and utilising system tools to enhance the work's effectiveness
- Lead the development of systems documentation and end user systems operating procedures to ensure that effective controls exist
- Contribute to the preparation of training materials and assist with training end users
- Collaborate with the Product Owner and business users to define test cases, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria in line with the overall strategy
- Support the Oracle Platform Lead with strategic planning, governance and oversight to ensure the efficient utilisation and alignment of Finance modules with organisational objectives
What we would like from you:
- 7+ years experience of Oracle ERP (Finance, Inventory, Procurement, Supply Chain Management) with minimum 3-4 years implementation experience in large complex organisations
- Strong understanding of finance processes, accounting principles, and financial reporting requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
- An ability to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences
- Build strong trusted working relationships with key stakeholders
