The opportunity
Are you a Senior Geoscientist looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact? Look no further! IMDEX is seeking a skilled professional to join our geoscience team, working with leading ore control technology to create value for mining clients.
You will have the chance to showcase your expertise in client management, developing robust relationships with clients, working closely to understand their business needs and aspirations for geoscience data, and providing guidance on the capabilities of IMDEX products and what we can deliver.
This is your chance to:
- Be a primary point of contact for client geoscience data-related inquiries and services.
- Lead, execute and action collaboration with client site-based and other stakeholders to ensure that the outputs provided are verified and trusted to be used for decision making by the client.
- Provide potential improvements to our geoscience solutions and services based on client feedback.
Your skills will be put to the test as you work with stakeholders from senior management through to the frontline to solve complex global problems.
To be successful
To thrive in this role, you will need previous experience partnering with businesses to manage change and introduction of new technologies. While not essential, exposure to working within businesses with a global presence will certainly impress us. We are looking for individuals with:
- Tertiary qualifications in Data Science (with a geoscience, geography or mining background), Geology, Geoscience or related discipline.
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Experience in data management
- Strong client consulting skills, and a background in professional consulting would be viewed favourably.
- Previous experience in applied and operational geoscience is preferred.
- Individuals with experience in mining technical services, drill & blast and geotechnical services are also encouraged to apply.
