Located on the beautiful Northern Beaches of Sydney, our luxury salon in Frenchs Forest is continually evolving. Our belief is that clients and team should have an all round excellent experience within our salon. Salon owner Julia, has been in the industry for 30 years. Originating from the UK and well-travelled, Julia has a wealth of management, education and salon floor experience. Julia's goal for her team is one of growth, fulfilment and inclusivity. A fair and nurturing environment is at the forefront and is at the core of all her business decisions. Passionate about nurturing every team member and guiding them to achieve their full potential, personally and professionally.We appreciate that every stylist has their favorite service to perform, we do too! Our aim is to provide you with a column full of your favorite services to give you the best day possible! Union Jacks is mindful to protect the integrity of our clients' hair, adapting our methods to align with each client's unique tastes.Your Growth & Development.Benefitting from an incredible relationship with our Ozdare rep, monthly in salon training is tailored to the needs and requests of the team. This ensures team training is relevant and enjoyable. Growth and development needs space and time to blossom, therefore each team member is given a weekly booked time slot to focus on personal development. Content and resources are provided to assist with this.
Tracking and measuring progress is scheduled in private one on one meetings with Julia to discuss personal progress and help guide you towards your desired goals. During our monthly team meetings, all individuals have the ability to input and collaborate ideas.The rewards & benefits of being a team member.We want you to have a life outside of the salon, especially at the weekends! Therefore, a rostered Saturday off every 4 weeks is our suggestion (however not mandatory!).Union Jacks is open 5 days a week, Tues through to Saturday and asks each team member to work just one late night a fortnight. To ensure you are well rested, we give you a midday start on your late shift, with a finish time of 8pm. We support your personal needs as best as we can by offering flexible hours, we will work together to ensure your hours align with your life outside of the salon (think kids swimming lessons, any regular appointments you have!)Time out with family and friends is a must for anybody! We want you to be there for the special times of the year and therefore close between Christmas and New Year! As a master in your craft, you will value looking and feeling well presented, enjoy free hair services and the very best home care products (these are purchased at cost price not at RRP).Free parking for those that drive and with both Glenrose and Forestway shopping centres nearby, our location is super convenient.Social events.A team that plays together stays together! We regularly get together for dinner, drinks, bowling and anything else that gets suggested! Yearly team retreats allow up a couple of days R & R and our Christmas parties are always unique.
