As a Senior Health & Safety Consultant, you will be part of a dynamic team, contributing to the growth and success of our Health and Safety business in the region. Your Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the regional head for Safety and Compliance, you will share responsibility for defining and implementing the technical and strategic direction of the section. Your role will involve cultivating essential client relationships, showcasing thought leadership, and consistently improving our consultancy services.
Key responsibilities include: * Providing thought leadership in Health & Safety, addressing industry trends and challenges with innovative solutions.
- Leading regional Practice Area Network (PAN) activities, promoting initiatives aligned with the PAN's vision and ensuring the local community is informed about PAN activities.
- Developing team members' operational, commercial, and consultancy capabilities through coaching and mentorship.
- Contributing to pursuits for significant opportunities to secure future projects and workload.
- Conducting technical quality reviews and providing sign-off accordingly.
- Managing diverse, engaged, and multi-disciplinary hybrid teams.
To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Seasoned Professional: Bring extensive experience in Health & Safety consulting, showcasing a diverse skill set in Safety by Design, high-risk industries, property management, and major projects.
- Risk Management Authority: Demonstrate expertise in workplace risk assessment, holding a recognized certification (AIHS) and a deep understanding of relevant legislation, standards, guidelines, and codes of practice.
- Inspirational Leadership: Boast a compelling leadership style, inspiring and influencing others, while actively contributing to team development and managing small teams.
- Quality Assurance Expert: Showcase proficiency in applying QA and OH&S systems, with a proven track record in auditing junior staff and actively contributing to team development.
