This is a new, contract dedicated role, based in Perth.Your role in our HSEQ team will be promoting our strong safety culture by coaching and mentoring workers in the effective use of a range of HSE tools and processes, to drive HSEQ compliance and felt leadership to the highest standard and to identify and/or execute continuous improvement projects within the HSEQ function. Culture and Benefits Team environment Perth Airport location (free parking) Discounts with hundreds of retailers at over 9,000 locations across Australia Australia’s largest privately owned Transport Company Attractive team benefits, stability, and exciting national growth opportunities RIPPA values-driven company with a serious safety culture Career development with extraordinary opportunities on a national scale Fast growing organisation, excellent training, progression, and support Tasks & Responsibilities Provide HSEQ support for operations relating to client contract including completion of all contract deliverables Assist with the development and communication of the HSEQ Strategic Plan and Tactical Plan and implementation of actions to achieve strategic directives Support management and worker awareness of HSEQ responsibilities and accountabilities Contribute to and support HSEQ consultation and participation processes Review compliance with workplace policies and procedures including conducting workplace internal audits and support external audits as required. Train Operations teams in HSE programs and the use of HSE tools e.g. Take 5, CRAs/ CRIs, JSAs, Permit toWork Lead critical incident investigations and participate in other investigations, as required; and generate HSE Alerts and Learnings Assist with development of and contribution to implementation of activities to prevent workplace fatality, injury, disease and ill health Undertake trend and statistical analysis and report key performance indicators Attend HSEQ Meetings, Toolbox Meetings and customer meetings, as required Review safety non-conformance reports and action as required Who we are looking for Extensive experience in a generalist HSEQ role (minimum 5 years) preferably in a transport/logistics environment Significant experience in incident investigations Proven track record in facilitating genuine culture change Excellent working knowledge of WHS and associated legislation . i.e Chain of Responsibility, road safety and environmental legislation Knowledge and understanding of high risk work, dangerous goods and mining Excellent verbal communication and report writing skills Ability to deal effectively with multiple conflicting priorities and complex problems Highly organised and motivatedWorking knowledge of ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001 Who is Centurion?
