This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the evolution of our service and grow within a dynamic healthcare setting.Reporting to the Head of the Department of Clinical Psychology & Neuropsychology, you will develop integrated care plans, and deliver high-quality, evidence-based clinical care that is responsive to the needs of our patients.You will assess, provide intervention, and consult on a diverse range of paediatric inpatient and outpatient cases, addressing cognitive, emotional, and functional challenges to enhance the overall well-being of the child and their family.The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills, actively participating in multidisciplinary teams (MDT) to deliver holistic patient care in collaboration with medical specialists, nursing, and other allied health professionals.Your responsibilities will include:Key responsibilities include:

• Working collaboratively within MDT settings across various departments.
• Developing and adapting care plans for children with chronic illnesses, disabilities, and complex medical needs under the primary care of paediatricians or surgeons.
• Actively participating in departmental meetings, case presentations, conferences, research, benchmarking, education, and development activities, aiming to enhance service delivery and contribute to the broader field of rehabilitation psychology.
• Providing mentorship, supervision, and training to junior staff and contribute to the professional development within the department and broader clinical community.
• Developing intervention and group programs within the psychology team.
• Liaising with community agencies and contributing to the ongoing mapping and analysis of caseloads, referrals, and service demands to inform future staffing and departmental growth.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in provision of clinical psychology therapies and assessments, and with a demonstrated ability to lead and develop clinical programs and initiatives.
